Fire Prevention

The Waterville Fire Department conducts hundreds of inspections yearly as well as ensuring the correction of numerous fire and safety hazards. The Waterville Fire Department has many other functions. Activities include commercial and health facility inspections, new and existing residential occupancies, plan and site reviews, water supply analysis, public education, a juvenile fire setter program, safety inspections of wood stove and chimneys.

The Department also performs in house birthday parties, station tours and on site fire prevention demonstrations.
